Grand Mesa Summit Challenge
Dog Sled
Race 2012 This year the Sled Dog Racing Association and the Partners
Organization are teaming up. There is a symposium Friday January 27th
featuring John Perry - 6 time International Sled Dog Racing Association
Gold Medalist. There will also be a silent auction benefiting
Partners. The races take place on Saturday and Sunday January 28th
and 29th.
Great Partnership Activity Idea!
We are looking for some kids age 9 and above to participate
in a short 1 mile course if any adult mentors have kids in that age range. Warm
Winter gear is required.
If any Partnerships would like to volunteer to help out the
Dog Sled Race club would love the help. Volunteers would help with the
dogs, food wagon, and general duties. Also if there is a partnership that
wants to help the mushers we can set that up too. This would be a great
Adult Mentor, Junior Partner day!
